Adams Golf seems like a fairly new company in the scope of the golf industry, doesn’t it? Now think of this. Adams started making clubs the same year The Simpsons first aired on television. Now it seems longer, doesn’t it? Adams started making clubs when gas cost $0.89 a gallon. No folks, that’s not a typo — there is no number before the decimal.
Adams knows what they are doing. They have had a wonderful history that continues their vision of quality and technologically innovative equipment into the present. They don’t stray too far from their expertise — only focusing on golf clubs and accessories, and doing them well.
Adams hit their biggest break in the late 1990s when they invented the popular “Tight Lies Fairway Wood” which was really an “upside-down” head design, giving the club a low profile and lower center of gravity that really was easier to hit.
It is not surprising that many people still own and use Tight Lies clubs in their golf game.
