Here's another golf gimmick. This one is a grip that is going to "help the golfer to fully release the club and attain maximum club head speed." The only maximum you're going to reach here is on your Visa card.
Okay, let's take a look at the design. Basically they've taken a grip and tapered it. Thus, the grip is thicker in the right hand and thinner in the left. I suppose this could certainly promote a hand release, but you could accomplish the same thing with a little extra grip tape. Just double wrap the top of the grip a few extra times before you put on a regular grip.
Don't get me wrong; your grip is one of the most important keys to a good golf swing. If you are unsure about your grip, I suggest you go to your local golf club and have a PGA professional take a look. They probably won't even charge you for it.
However, if you are looking for a good golf tool that will actually help you improve your golf swing, check out the Medicus. You've probably seen it. It's a golf club that has a hinge on the shaft, and unless you swing it on plane and with good tempo, the hinge will release.
These full release grips aren't worth it. It's another golf gimmick. Save your Visa card for important things, like greens fees.
