I personally love to play Titleist NXT Tours. These, for me, have felt identical to the Pro V1's and I simply love the way they feel on the green. I know, I know, there are many out there in the world who could tell the difference, but this amateur cannot. They are a solid golf ball.
I seem to get a little more distance with these than some of the other Nike's I've played, and I have used several for many rounds (when I don't lose them) and they honestly hold up really well.
For the price that you can get a dozen (that's right, folks, twelve) used Pro V1's, you can get 36 of these NXT's. The used ones for me are just fine, thank you -- and a couple of minor scuffs are no big deal when it comes to my game.
The hype of the Nike Platinums have not tempted me yet -- in that respect, you can still consider this weekend golfer a traditionalist. After all, the commercials must be right in that Titleist is still the number one ball in golf.
If you don't believe me, just putt one. See what you think.
